They tend to be green when growing and pink when dormant, though high light and drier soil help encourage green color. However, I find that my plant colors up nicely from fall through spring then gets greenish in the summer growing season no matter what you do. So don't worry if it loses some color, giving it more light and cooler temps will change it back fairly
